Things to ask
Semi works within the conversation’s scope: the whole account, or one advertiser (see
Semi API).
Attachments
Attach up to 5 files per message: PDF, images (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP), video (MP4, MOV), audio (MP3, WAV, M4A), text and data files (TXT, SRT, MD, CSV, JSON, HTML, XML), spreadsheets (XLS, XLSX), DOCX, PPTX and ZIP. Media files can be up to 50 MB; everything else up to 5 MB. A file that’s too large, of another type, or over the count is refused with the reason.Confirmations
Semi reads freely but asks before it writes anything durable. A confirmation card shows exactly what will change, and nothing happens until you approve it. See Semi confirmations.Stopping a response
Stop a running answer from the composer. Anything Semi already saved stays saved; a write waiting on your confirmation doesn’t happen unless you approve it.Usage
Semi’s use is metered per person in each account over 24 hours. Near the cap the chat says “Approaching your 24-hour limit”, then “Almost at your 24-hour limit”; at the cap it pauses until the reset time it shows. When Semi says it didn’t find something
A “no” from Semi covers what it searched: your account, the docs it can read, your requests. Read it as “not here”, not “nowhere”. If a person should look, ask Semi to file a request.Your requests
When Semi can’t do something (a missing feature, a seller you want, an integration), it can file an ask for the Semicola team. Your asks are listed with their status; see Asks. The same tools everywhere
Semi uses the same tools as any MCP client. Anything you ask Semi, your own agent can do through the v3 MCP endpoint; see the v3 Tool Catalog. Not available yet
